3. Can you describe what you do day-to-day?
As a senior QA I am responsible for the quality of our Humly app. I work with the product development team to make sure our platform works smoothly technically and is defect-free. My day starts and ends usually with a lot of collaboration with various people discussing and implementing ways to improve User experience while attaining high level of quality
4. What’s the most challenging part of your job, and how do you usually challenge it?
For now the challenging part is mostly how to enhance and quantify the metrics around the quality of our platform. We are creating more processes and improvising our ways of work on a day to day basis to have a user-centric state of mind. I think from a user perspective and ask myself, what else could make me happier using ‘Humly’ app and usually that drives me to act and identify what can be ‘done better’ from the technical front that would ultimately lead to better user experience.
5. From your experiences as Senior QA Engineer at Humly, what do you believe are some of the most essential skills or attributes needed to thrive in this role?
Attention to detail, thinking from the user's perspective, consistency in actions, healthy communication and hardwork are essential for any Quality engineer to set up and maintain a good quality product. I always believe quality engineers are the glue between Tech team and Users who always push the team to ‘do better’ and ‘do the right thing’ in the interest of users.
