2. How long have you worked for Humly?
Since autumn 2021
3. Can you describe what you do day-to-day?
In collaboration with the rest of the marketing team making sure we’re attracting great people into the world of education and into our brand and community, for today and for tomorrow. That means that the marketing department work within various disciplines and collaborations from brand perception, reach, awareness all the way to advertising and applications.
4. What’s the most challenging part of your job, and how do you usually challenge it?
As often within marketing today, we’re trying to balance the short term performance with the long term brand building initiatives, especially in an industry like ours where there’s also a level of complexity associated with global brand and local presence.
5. From your experiences as Brand & Marketing Manager at Humly, what do you believe are some of the most essential skills or attributes needed to thrive in this role?
Humble, Curious and Methodical is often a good starting point.
6. What’s one professional achievement you’re most proud of?
Let me name two, the recruitment of Samuel and the recruitment of Trenton. Those two turned out to be pretty great.
7. What do you do outside of work to unwind?
Hanging out with my two kids, and fiancee, or trying to sneak away to the golf course (rarely successful).
8. Where is your favourite travel destination?
When I’m on vacation or even when I’m out on dinner, my favourite part is going home, so that’s probably my favourite destination.
9. Tell us something interesting about yourself.
You should ask my fiancé cause I’ve unsuccessfully asked myself that question the last 34 years.
