Empathic, Friendly, Approachable, Methodical and Conscientious.

I joined Humly in February 2024.
3. Can you describe what you do day-to-day?
Ask educators across the UK to provide documentation to support the completion of their compliance tasks to make them compliant. Advise educators across the UK to update their compliance declarations prior to their renewal. Answer compliance queries from educators, using a variety of different mediums, including phone calls, text messages and emails. Making sure that we adhere to the guidance and policies accredited by APSCO. Monitor the non-compliant educators on a bi-weekly basis to look for trends in the data and adapt our area of focus to support our regions.
4. What’s the most challenging part of your job, and how do you usually challenge it?
The most challenging part of my role is remembering all of the different scenarios and how to process them. I overcome this by making very clear notes about scenarios and processes and referring to them regularly.
5. From your experiences as a Quality Compliance Support at Humly, what do you believe are some of the most essential skills or attributes needed to thrive in this role?
Possessing strong communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to describe our compliance tasks to our educators, in a clear, understandable way. Building and maintaining professional working relationships with our colleagues both in the UK and Sweden.
6. What’s one professional achievement you’re most proud of?
I am most proud of qualifying for my degree in Mathematics and Statistics. I was a mature student, with a young child and I had been involved in a car accident that left me with long term mobility problems which I also had to overcome.
7. What do you do outside of work to unwind?
I enjoy listening to classical music as I find this very relaxing. I recently learnt how to crochet and love watching the six nations rugby tournament and spending time with family and friends.
8. Where is your favourite travel destination?
My favourite place so far has been visiting the Dominican Republic during hurricane season. We were there as the tail end of Hurricane Maria went through.
9. Tell us something interesting about yourself.
I love wildlife and often take photos of wildlife from the different places I visit across the world. I have an app that I use that records bird calls and identifies them which I enjoy using too. I also have a large, needy cat at home, who I adore.
