3. Can you describe what you do day-to-day?
In charge of the PnL for the UK market, but also working on building the right structure and processes to ensure long-term growth and stability
4. What’s the most challenging part of your job, and how do you usually challenge it?
The most challenging part for me, coming from a non recruitment background, is changing people’s perspectives and showing them that it can be done in a different way to the status quo.
5. From your experiences as COO-UK at Humly, what do you believe are some of the most essential skills or attributes needed to thrive in this role?
The most essential part of this role is being able to see two pictures simultaneously. The short-term day-to-day PnL responsibilities, alongside the long-term strategy of the business to ensure they are aligned and working in harmony. With support teams working with us as part of the humly ecosystem
6. What’s one professional achievement you’re most proud of?
My proudest achievement is leaving my comfort zone working in Operations in the distribution industry, taking a leap of faith in myself in a brand new industry and being able to thrive and learn quickly. It has given me confidence that i can get out of my comfort zone and do well
7. What do you do outside of work to unwind?
Spend time with my wife and 2 kids, and play football as much as i can. I play semi professionally and it takes my mind off everything else for a few hours
8. Where is your favourite travel destination?
My favourite destination to travel to is Australia or Dubai
9. Tell us something interesting about yourself.
I have travelled to 5 continents (Antarctica and South America to go)
