You'll find and vet teachers, teaching assistants and nursery nurses. You'll get them cleared, onboarded and ready to work. You'll back up our consultants so the booking they promised a school is filled.
About Humly
Humly is a supply education company. Two former supply teachers started it in Gothenburg in 2015, after getting tired of last-minute calls, no calls at all, and having no say in their own working week. We built an app so educators can see jobs, choose them and book them directly. We now work with schools and nurseries across the UK and Sweden, and we're growing our London presence.
Our London team has over 20 years of local schools experience behind it. We want to add someone who cares about doing this properly.
What you'll do
Source educators across nursery, primary, secondary and SEN, through job boards, social media, referrals and your own networks
Call, interview and screen candidates, so only people you'd put in front of your own child's school get through
Run compliance checks and keep files clean and audit-ready: DBS, references, right to work, and safeguarding
Get new educators onto the Humly app and make sure they book their first job
Work with consultants daily on live vacancies, shortlisting and filling bookings
Keep your pipeline warm, so you can answer "who do we have for Year 4 in Sutton on Thursday?" quickly
Keep educators informed and engaged, and fix problems fast when something slips
You might be a fit if you
Have recruitment experience, in agency or in-house, ideally in education or high-volume, candidate-heavy desks.
Pick up the phone without being asked
Are organised enough to manage a lot of candidates and checks without losing track
Understand that safeguarding comes first and are comfortable being firm about it
Write clearly and speak to people warmly, whether it's a head teacher or a nervous newly qualified teacher
Work well with consultants and share the credit
Are comfortable with a CRM and a candidate app. We'll teach you ours.
Experience with UK schools, supply teaching or Safer Recruitment is a plus. It isn't essential.

About Humly
Founded in 2015, Humly is an international supply education company with five hubs and two headquarters throughout the UK and Sweden.
We help create a world where education is accessible, and every educator has choice and opportunity. We empower teachers and nursery nurses with full-career control to instantly see, choose, and book available jobs the moment they go live through our next-gen app and digital marketplace.
Our +100 employees, +5000 partner schools and nurseries, and +7000 teachers and nursery nurses are breaking down barriers and revolutionising education. We're making finding and booking jobs easier, faster, and better for educators, which makes it better for schools and students.
And we're only getting started.
