We are currently seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Computer Science/ Engineering Teacher to join a widely respected school which provides high-quality education to students at both GCSE and A-Level qualifications. 

The successful candidate would be delivering Computer Aided Design (CAD) as part of the engineering team, and computer science. The role would suit an experienced teacher of engineering, design and technology (with a technical focus) or computing. dynamic and passionate Teacher of Design & Technology with an interest or background in Design and Engineering to join a hugely successful department. This school strives to develop and maintain an environment where students are valued, their needs are met, and they are given the opportunity to reach their full potential academically and socially.

Within this role you will be responsible for planning and delivering teaching/learning programs using a flexible range of strategies and learning styles; taking responsibility for the quality of own teaching and related curriculum development. Developing learning resources/materials to meet individual learner needs. You will help students understand the processes of engineering design through practical activities to develop skills in computer modelling and model making and how to communicate design ideas effectively. As a Design Technology Teacher at the school you will teach the fundamental skills and knowledge required by the modern engineering industry.

To be considered for this role you will hold a Level 4 Teaching Qualification: Certificate in Education/ PGCE/QTLS/Bachelor of Education or a background as a trainer within the engineering industry.
