Job description 

Are you a P.E Teacher, Sports Instructor, Sports Coach or Graduate seeking opportunities to work in local schools? Humly are experiencing a high demand of PE and general classroom cover for day to day supply cover and long term contracts in the Portsmouth, Fareham, Gosport, Havant and Waterlooville areas. Whether you are looking for a new P.E teaching role or simply want the flexibility of choosing when and where you work, Humly will help find the right opportunity for you.

What can you expect your day to look like?

As a supply teacher, you can expect a much shorter day, arriving before the students and leaving promptly at the end of the day, regaining your work life balance. You'll receive a timetable upon arrival and as a PE specialist, you can expect most of your lessons to be within this department. All of the work will be prepared in advance for you and you'll required to deliver the lesson to students. 

For those seeking longer term contacts you can expect to take on full-teaching responsibilities and be treated as a valued member of the teaching staff and with a payrate that reflects the demands of the role and your experience as a Teacher.

Requirements of working as a P.E Teacher 

      • Must have at least 6 months of UK teaching, sports coaching, youth work or  tutoring experience
      • Must have a recognized relevant qualification such personal training, fitness, sports leadership, nutrition and exercise for children, sports science or sports coaching
      • Those with QTS or QTLS will receive a minimum rate of £120 per day
      • Those who are not qualified can expect  a minimum of £85 per day

      Wages paid weekly, on-time and with no umbrella company involvement.
