Product manager - Internal tools

About Humly
Humly is a digital marketplace for teachers to match exciting job opportunities within schools and nurseries. Humly’s teachers have delivered more than two hundred thousand teaching days to date. But we haven’t finished yet. We are continuously improving and developing our marketplace and expanding our offer into new international markets.
Humly has 60 employees working at our offices in Gothenburg in Sweden and Fareham, Milton Keynes, Manchester and Birmingham in the UK. We have over 3,000 registered teachers and agreements with over 4,000 schools in Sweden and the UK.
Humly has financially strong and active owners, Viking Ventures, and have raised 10 MEUR. We see great potential for the company and have a high ambition.
The Humly platform consists of multiple web clients written in React.js and mobile apps for iOS and Android written in React Native that connect to Ruby on Rails API. Data is permanently stored in the MongoDB database and temporarily cached in Redis.
The infrastructure is run on Amazon Web Services with Infrastructure As Code approach (Terraform).
About the role
Our business is growing quickly in multiple markets. Our marketplace is becoming more and more demanding to maintain and develop. With the extensive need for our platform and exciting opportunities, we need well-working and scalable internal tools to manage all bookings and users.
We are looking for someone that can own all internal tools within our product management organisation. You will be responsible for forming a globally scalable internal platform where our support, teacher success, customer success team and finance team can work in an efficient way.
The tasks included in this role are for example:
• Communication with all operational teams
• Migration of the Humly platform into new businesses that we acquire
• Documentation
• Forming and owning a globally scalable internal platform
• Service and process design
• Defining and prioritizing the internal needs
• Communication with the development team
Within the product management organisation, you will work close to the company CPO and our UX and UI designers. The current development organisation works data-driven and agile. We don’t follow any exact agile process model but have designed our own with similar principles. You must prefer being outcome-driven, running small sprints and deploying often to like working here.

Qualifications
• 3+ years of product management experience.
• Experience in service design is a plus.
• Experience in managing a recruitment platform, digital marketplace or administration tool is a plus.
• Speaking Swedish is a plus but not required. The product management team communicates in English.

Location
Humly is a hybrid organisation with a team spread over many locations in Sweden, England and Poland. We harness the power of remote work and have a structure to build a solid collaborative culture through physical meetings. For this role, it will be preferable if the candidate is situated in Sweden or the UK as meeting and working with the operational teams there will be crucial. The job includes some travelling between Sweden and the UK. It is not a must that you are located in a city where we have an office.
